Ingredients:
250 g of flour 100 g of brown sugar 2 eggs 120 g of butter 60 g of raisins 30 g of candied orange peel 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and ginger ½ teaspoon of nutmeg 1 sachet of baking powder 15 cl of milk
Making:
Soak the raisins for 20 min into some lukewarm water. Mix together the sieved flour with the baking powder and spices. With a whisk, work together the soft butter with the sugar. When creamy, add the eggs and the preparation based on flour-spices. Lastly, add the milk. Drain the raisins and add them to the preparation with the peels. Pour the preparation into a buttered cake tin and bake in the preheated oven (th. 6-7, 200°C) for 1 hour. Check the cooking with a knife.
