Ingredients:
1 kg of carrots 80 g of butter 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley salt, pepper
Making:
Peel, wash and cut the carrots into rather big slices. Brown them into some melted butter and avoid them from sticking. Cover with water, salt, pepper and cook over a slow heat for 20 minutes with a lid (or until evaporation of the water). Stir from time to time not to let it stick. Spinkle with chopped parsley before serving. You can, according to your taste, add a tablespoon of crème fraiche and a crushed clove of garlic.
Advice : Let cook much longer if they are not spring carrots.
